Sign up and create an organization

Sign in with an email link, then create your organization. Hours and events belong to it.

In HearGlobe, hours, events, glossaries and Chat links belong to an organization. An organization is your company, school or association.

Sign up and sign in

  1. On the HearGlobe website, click “Sign up”.
  2. Enter your email and accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
  3. Click “Send sign-in link”.
  4. Open the email we send and follow the link. You are signed in.

You sign in the same way every time. No password is needed. If the email does not arrive, check your spam folder or send the link again from the sign-in page.

Signing up is free. A new account has no hours, so you must top up before a speaker can start recording.

Create an organization

The first time you sign in, you see “Get started with HearGlobe”.

  1. Click “Create Organization”.
  2. Enter the organization name, for example “Taiwan Conference Association”.
  3. Click “Create Organization”.

The person who creates the organization is its owner. You can change the organization name later in Settings.

One person, many organizations

  • You can create more than one organization, and other organizations can invite you.
  • Use “Switch organization” to move between them. Each organization has its own hours, events and members.

Next steps

  1. Top up hours. Without hours, the speaker cannot start recording.
  2. Create your first event.
  3. To manage events with colleagues, see Members and permissions.
