Getting started

New to HearGlobe: sign up, create an organization, create an event, top up hours.

This section is for organizers who use HearGlobe for the first time. Read it in order and you can run your first event with live captions.

  1. Sign up and create an organization: sign in with your email and create your organization.
  2. Create your first event: set the languages, then hand out the speaker link and the listener QR code.
  3. Top up and how hours work: rates, the 10-minute start threshold, and what happens when hours run out.

The whole flow

  1. The organizer creates an organization, tops up hours and creates an event on the website.
  2. The speaker opens the speaker link in a browser and clicks “Start”.
  3. Listeners scan the QR code with their phones, choose a language and read captions. They can also listen to synthesized speech.

Speakers and listeners do not install an app and do not sign up.
